Matariki Hangi

Yesterday we had a Hangi. I ate all of it because I loved it. It was yummy. It was cooked under ground because it was a hangi. We had potato. I ate the potato and there was chicken and I ate the chicken.

The men dug a hole under ground. They put metal in the hole and wrapped up the food and lit a fire so the food did not get burnt.
